Samantha Nasholm

I was asked to define the word 'creativity'. I simply said that it was looking at the world differently than most people do. Art shouldn't be limited to a brush on canvas. That's what a lot of
people think art is. If that is true, then let the world

be my canvas and my camera be my brush.

I am Sammy. I was born in December of 1989 in Springfield, Oregon. Art has always played a big part in my life. As early
as I can remember, I have been drawn to expressing myself through various art forms. While I very much enjoy
drawing, painting, singing, writing poetry and
re-purposing clothing to fit my unique style, my favorite
form of expression is captured through the lens of
a camera. Art is a way of communicating with
others and I am willing to put my work out there
and see what they get from it.

I want to improve and learn as much as I can about photography. My career goal is simple; to become a photographer that captures images with depth and meaning.
