Michael Martin
Having just graduated Dedecus Sine Laude from Cornish College of the Arts, Michael
brandishes his B.F.A. at the world like a cutlass, crying "Avast ye!" One has to
ask: During hisfour and a half years of art education, has he, in fact, learned anything? The answer is yes. Is he prepared for what comes after? That's a solid "maybe". Is he guaranteed to thrive in the rough-and-tumble fantasy illustration industry? That's pretty much a "no". But he's got vision, passion, and gumption, and while it's true that if vision, passion, and gumption were horses, amateur illustrators would ride, Michael does have some other things in his utility belt that just might get him by.
