Ben Freedman
Hi, my name is Ben. Places of my youth include Sarasota, FL and Muskegon, MI. I
moved out to Washington to carve a life for myself. I was fortunate enough to be
awardedthe Mcmillen Scholarship for the Arts, and I'll always be thankful that Mike and Erin saw something in me worth nurturing. I think there's a certain pride to be felt from pouring one's self into something he or she enjoys. I think you can pour yourself into it so deeply that it ceases to be enjoyable. My two cents to anyone entering this field of study is to try and let your tastes and love of the task guide you, and try not to over think things. Remember that doing is just as important as knowing how to do. Knowing something never put the pencil to the paper, and neither did talk. Sometimes you have to learn these things the hard way.
